Baby Mac's Newborn Studio Session
Shannon, her husband and BEAUTIFUL baby boy came to my studio last week for her newborn session and it was just amazing! Baby Mac is a dreamboat baby. Shannon is such a natural as a mom already and it was so special for me to photograph! The love and connection between the 3 of them was so evident throughout the entire session. Photographing the love, connection and bond between new parents and their sweet baby is the absolute best. I can't describe the joy it brings me!
As always with all of my newborn sessions, we followed Baby Mac's lead and let him run the show! I don't wait for babies to be perfectly asleep before I start shooting- although sleeping babies are always heavenly :) I photograph babies just as they are because they are perfect just the way they are. I photograph the little smiles, the stretches, the eye gazing, the funny and sweet movements. The baby also very rarely leaves mom or dad's arms during a session. They are happiest being close and warm to mom or dad and I never want to disturb that connection until I photograph them individually at the very end of the session. I never put the baby in a position that they don't want to be in! They ALWAYS want to be held, so that's exactly how I love to photograph them best- in the warm embrace of mom & dad's arms!
