Family Sessions
At your family session I will meet you and your family at the location of your choice. We will spend the the first few minutes of the session getting to know each other. Then I like to get the "formal" pictures out of the way first thing. Those are images of everyone looking at the camera. The rest of the session is spent essentially playing and getting those coveted candid shots that everyone loves! I always like to get images of everyone sitting together on a blanket or bench, portraits of individual children and siblings together, parents with each child and fun and playful images. The biggest thing to remember is to come to your session relaxed, especially if you have young children. Kids will be kids and sometimes they have their own agendas, and that is completely expected and OK! I am a patient and warm person and as a former preschool teacher and mother of three, I know it can take a little time for kids to warm up to new faces. Young kids help keep the session carefree and fun and that's exactly the way I like to photograph.
